Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Global
AP (Accounts Payable) Manager who will be responsible for managing an Accounts Payable
Team that is responsible for EMEA, APAC, North America & Latin America and ensure
that invoices are processed and paid on time and with high quality and
according to MediaKind's Invoice to Payment process and approved legal
requirements. Since the role affects the financial system, part of the role is
also managing open items in the Accounts Payable ledger and performing month
end closing activities to ensure that the financial data framework is correct.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive, scan and archive invoices (mainly for
    Scanning and Archiving positions)

  • Process the invoices (both manual and
    electronic) and secure quality of tax, cost allocation for non-PO invoices
    and matching for PO invoices. Necessary controls in the end-to-end process
    of handling invoices should also be secured

  • Perform payment related transactions including
    the returned and failed payments

  • Perform reconciliations and reports

  • Perform period end closing activities

  • Drive automation, quality and efficiency

  • Support the team and Stakeholders by acting as
    resource

  • Perform support execution

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration or
    equivalent

  • 10+ years acting as an AP Manager in a
    global/shared services environment

  • SAP experience is a must

  • Rapidly learns new tasks and quickly commits
    information to memory. Gathers comprehensive information to support
    decision making. Demonstrates a rapid understanding of newly presented
    information. Encourages an organizational learning approach (i.e. learns
    from successes and failures and seeks staff and customer feedback).

  • Manages knowledge (collects, classifies and
    disseminates knowledge of use to the organisation).

  • Adapts to changing circumstances. Accepts new
    ideas and change initiatives. Adapts interpersonal style to suit different
    people or situations. Shows respect and sensitivity towards cultural and
    religious differences. Deals with ambiguity, making positive use of the
    opportunities it presents.
