About the role
The Software Development Engineer is responsible for producing and documenting quality software from inception to delivery.  This position requires the ability to perform analysis, design, verify, demonstration and maintenance of software. 

What you'll do:

• Build, test, support and maintain scalable, highly available, modular cloud-based software products.
• Drive continual improvement to system architecture and design.
• Produce excellent quality code.
• Work as a team in an agile project management context.
• Deliver on programming best practices and standards like code reviews, unit and functional testing.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the AV Backend server and lead the team in technical front.
2. Manage the project and work along with various stake holders.
3. Managing and coordinating the customer product deployment activities
4. Coordinating with the PDU and the product team in analysing the customer reported issues and providing the resolutions.
5. Participation in the scrum, sprint review, retrospective meeting and preparing the reports.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. 8+ years of industry experience
2. 5+ years of experience in media and AV Back-end servers.
3. Experience in cloud technologies.
4. Strong in Linux expertise,
5. Expertise in C++ and object-oriented programming.
6. Exposure to DRM and OTT technology.
7. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containers.
8. Exposure PostgreSQL, Casandra and Redis
9. Knowledge of Python and shell scripting
10. Exposure to UI development PHP and Java scripting.
11. Exposure to scalable applications
12. Experience in Git, Artifactory, TFS
